About Shawn Lawn Care Services

By ten in the morning in July, the air over the Colorado River down at Fisherman's Park has already gone heavy, and Bastrop lawns show it — Bermuda going pale where the sprinkler throw falls short, St. Augustine crowding out over the walk. Shawn Lawn Care Services gets ahead of that heat, mowing at a height that leaves the grass some shade of its own, then edging and trimming while the shadows are still long. The blowers come last, clearing drive and porch so a property is finished all at once instead of in pieces. There is a plain satisfaction in the after-look: passes running true across a front yard, a hard clean line where turf meets curb. When the cooler months come around, the same yards get their leaves hauled off and their beds put in order.
