About Renfro Lawn Care

Bastrop keeps a stand of loblolly pines that has no business growing this far west, and Renfro Lawn Care works beneath them. Needles come down here most of the year, soft and gold, and a yard can vanish under them by the end of a warm week — so the raking and blowing matter as much as the mowing. Mornings start early, before the heat leans in off Highway 71, with trimmer work along the fence lines and a clean edge where turf meets drive. By the time the trailer gate comes up, the Bermuda is even, the beds are swept, and the concrete is bare enough to see its own color again. It is ordinary work, done for the plain pleasure of a yard that looks tended from the road.
