The Mowologist

About The Mowologist

Down in the Ash Creek bottoms the grass grows differently than it does up on the rise, and The Mowologist knows the difference. This is lawn care in Azle, Texas, practiced at the hour when the sun sits straight overhead and the cicadas make their case from the pecans. Cutting height, trimming lines, the tidy sweep of clippings off the concrete — small decisions, made the same way every visit, that add up to a yard people slow down for. Texas summers run long, so the work stays patient: mow, edge, trim the fence line, clear the drive, come back. When fall finally eases the pace and the trees let go, the same attention goes into the cleanup.
