About Budget Lawn Care LLC

By one o'clock in July, the only honest shade left in town is under a pecan or along the north wall of a house. Budget Lawn Care LLC works those afternoons regardless, hat brim down, moving through mowing, trimming and edging while the heat lies over everything like a flat hand. There is a rhythm to it — cut, turn, cut — and the smell of hot grass rising up behind the deck. The sidewalk gets swept clear, the line along the driveway gets its edge back, and the yard is finished before the thunderheads stack up out west over Parker County. Then it is on to the next one, and the next, all the way down to evening.
