About Violet Crown Austin Landscaping and Designs

Austin took the name Violet Crown from the color that settles over the western hills as the sun goes down — a low band of purple laid across the cedar. Violet Crown Austin Landscaping and Designs works toward that hour: the last edge cut, the last bed shaped, a yard tidied while the light is still worth reading by. The work is mowing and trimming on the regular rounds, plus landscape design and planting — beds and borders laid out to suit the limestone underfoot and the shade the live oaks actually throw. Nothing here fights the country it sits in; the yards that satisfy in this town look like the country with a hand laid gently on it. Come back at dusk and the lines cut that afternoon are the first thing the eye follows.
