About Rivera Landscaping

Morning in Manor comes in low and gray off the fields, fog lying in the bar ditches along the farm roads out toward Littig until the sun burns it off by eight. Rivera Landscaping is already out in it — trailer gate down, mower warm, the first pass laid across a wet lawn in a stripe you can read from the mailbox. The work is steady and unhurried: mowing, trimming around posts and play sets and the base of every young live oak, shaping shrubs back off the windows, then clearing the walks and curb line until nothing is left but grass. By midday the heat stands up out of the ground the way it does here, and the route has moved on down the block. The difference shows up again in the evening, when the low light catches the stripes and the lawn is still holding its shape.
