Quiet Green

About Quiet Green

First light in Clarksville, mist still lying low in the Shoal Creek bottom, the neighborhood not yet awake. Quiet Green works that hour on purpose — mowing, trimming, edging, beds tended and clippings cleared, all of it done without turning a whole block out of bed. By the time coffee is poured the yard is cut, the walks are clean, and the only evidence left is the smell of fresh grass hanging in cool air. There is a kind of respect in leaving a place better and leaving it softly. That is the standard here.
