About Loopers Lawn Care

January in the northwest hills arrives with that pale gold haze off the cedar, the one that has half of Travis County sneezing by lunchtime. Loopers Lawn Care is out in it anyway, running the winter rounds through Anderson Mill and Jollyville: the dormant cut, the beds cleared down to clean soil, shrubs trimmed back while they're sleeping, edges recut so the walks read sharp against brown grass. Winter work here isn't glamorous, but it's the month that decides what April looks like. The loop comes back around every week, same houses, same order. Come spring the yards that got tended in the haze are the ones that jump first.
