About Hernandez Landscaping

October is when the peninsula turns generous — the first cool front pushes through, the cedar-covered slopes hold their green, and the cypress along Lake Austin start going rust at the edges. Hernandez Landscaping takes advantage of that stretch, mowing and edging in weather that lets a crew work all afternoon without hurry. Steiner Ranch yards run uphill and down, terraced against limestone, so the trimming is done on foot, close in, where the wheels won't go. There is real pleasure in a slope finished evenly and a driveway line cut straight as a chalk mark. When the leaves finally come, the cleanup follows, and the yards go into the short Hill Country winter looking cared for.
