Ground & Garden

About Ground & Garden

Spring reaches Steiner Ranch in a rush: mountain laurel breaking purple and sweet along the fence lines, bluebonnets crowding the ranch-road shoulders, grass suddenly asking for a weekly visit. Ground & Garden meets that season head-on with mowing, edging and trimming, plus the cleanup that clears winter's leftovers out of the beds. Hill Country soil is thin and stubborn, and tending it well means noticing what each yard wants — more sun here, less mower there, a border pulled back to where it belongs. Nothing beats standing at the end of a job with the beds defined, the turf even, and the whole property looking composed. It is gardening in the older sense: attention, repeated.
