Drip Lawn Ninjas

About Drip Lawn Ninjas

Austin in August measures its water by the inch, and the good hour is the one before sunrise, when whatever lands on a lawn actually reaches the roots instead of the air. Drip Lawn Ninjas carry that same discipline into the mowing, cutting high through the burning weeks so the crowns stay shaded and the soil beneath them holds on to what it has. The rounds are mowing, edging, string trimming and blowing the walks and drives clean, week after week across the limestone country above the Barton Springs recharge zone. Quick, quiet, gone before the yard has warmed up — the name is not entirely a joke. Come the first honest September rain, these are the lawns that green back up in days.
