About Best Brush In Town & Landscaping

Out toward the western rim of Austin the ground turns to caliche — a few pale inches of soil laid over Balcones limestone — and whatever grows there grows stubborn. Best Brush In Town & Landscaping takes that country on its own terms: mowing what wants to be lawn, cutting back the overgrowth that creeps in off the fence line, and hauling the trimmings away so the yard can breathe. Mid-morning after a Hill Country rain is the good hour, when the cedar smells sharp and the mower leaves a clean dark track behind it. Edges get a hard line, walks get blown down to bare concrete, and the ragged half of the lot stops looking like a dare. A yard reclaimed from brush is its own kind of pleasure — suddenly you can see the whole shape of the place again.
