Austin Yard Oasis

About Austin Yard Oasis

Dusk along Barton Creek is a particular kind of blue, the canyon holding the day's heat while the water below runs cool over the rock. Austin Yard Oasis builds toward that hour, tending the yards on the ridges above the greenbelt so that evenings outside are worth having: turf mowed and striped, hedges shaped, beds weeded and mulched, borders cut clean where lawn meets limestone. Hill country ground gives a yard about three inches of soil to work with, so every healthy patch of green here is genuinely earned. Summer runs hot and long in this part of Travis County, and steady attention is what keeps a place from going crisp by July. What is left, week after week, is an outdoor room that actually invites you into it.
