About Barker Landscaping LLC

Spring storms reach Athens from the southwest, pile up dark over the pastures, and move on leaving everything soaked, green and knocked sideways. Barker Landscaping LLC works the days right after, when the ground is soft enough to rut and the grass has gotten a week ahead overnight. That means mowing with a light hand, picking up the limbs and blow-down the wind left behind, then bringing the edges and fence lines back to a line. Red clay does not forgive careless wheels, so the route across a lot is part of the job rather than an afterthought. By the time the sun is back out over the square, the yard looks like the storm went around it.
