About Advanced Lawn Mowing.LLC

By one in the afternoon in July, the cicadas have Athens to themselves and the heat lifts off the Loop 7 pavement in visible sheets. Advanced Lawn Mowing.LLC is long finished with the hard part by then, because bermuda cut in the cool holds its color and grass cut at the top of an East Texas afternoon remembers it for a week. After a summer rain a lawn here can put on an inch in three days, so the schedule is the craft — showing up on the day the yard needs it rather than the day the calendar suggests. Then comes the trim work around fence posts, mailbox stands and A/C pads, the edge pulled back off the curb, and the clippings taken off the concrete. The best sign of a morning done right is a whole street of yards that look like one hand touched them all, because it did.
