Joel’s lawn & tree

About Joel’s lawn & tree

Arcola's first warm week usually turns up in February, when the fields along FM 521 shed their winter color and the yards begin to think about waking. That first cut of the year is the kind of work Joel's lawn & tree looks forward to: the grass low and even again, bed lines re-cut, the hedges brought back to a shape. From there it becomes a season of keeping pace — mowing, edging, trimming, hauling the cuttings away. Flat country means every lawn is visible from a long way off, and a tidy one carries. Small, repeated work, and it changes how a house sits on its lot.
