About Montgomery Landscaping & Tree Services

Along the draws that run toward Throckmorton Creek, the cedar elms and pecans have stood through more north Texas wind than any of the houses around them, and every spring they shed a little proof of it into somebody's yard. That is where the tree side of this work begins — limbs cleared, canopies trimmed back off roofs and drives, storm debris gathered and gone. The landscaping and mowing carry the rest of the year: grass cut, edges held, beds kept from wandering. Trees and lawn want opposite things from the same patch of ground, and balancing them is the craft. A shaded Anna yard that is open, clean and cut well is a fine place to stand on a July evening.
