JMC Lawn Care

About JMC Lawn Care

Saturday morning east of Anna, where the land tips off toward Sister Grove Creek and the Lavon country, the day starts with the clatter of a ramp and the smell of cut grass on humid air. Lawn care out this way is a weekly promise more than a project: the mowing done on schedule, the edges taken back off the concrete, the string trimmer run around every post and bed, the clippings blown clear of the walk. Grass on this prairie will run away from you in a hurry after a rain, so keeping ahead of it is most of the skill. The best sign of the work is how little anyone has to think about their yard. Tidy, on time, week after week — that is the whole idea.
