About Lonestar Turf Services

By late March the roadsides around Angleton go blue and orange with bluebonnets and paintbrush, and the turf everywhere else wakes up hungry. Lonestar Turf Services takes on the wide ones — big yards and open ground where mowing is measured in acres more than minutes: cutting, edging the long drives, trimming fence lines, clearing clippings off the pavement. Broad turf on this coastal plain shows every wobble, so the passes have to be laid down straight and overlapped honestly. When the last lane closes and the whole sweep reads as one even green, that's the moment. Then on to the next place before the heat sets in.
