About Alpha Lawn & Landscaping

Somewhere in February, before anyone has said the word spring, the St. Augustine out along Bastrop Bayou stops sulking and pushes up green. That turn is when Alpha Lawn & Landscaping gets busy: the first cut of the year, edges reopened along walks that winter blurred, beds trimmed back to a clean line. From there it's a long stretch on the Angleton flats, where grass grows nine months out of twelve and a yard can get away from you in a single week. The work is mowing, edging, trimming and carrying the clippings off — plain sentences, said well. What's left is a lawn that looks like somebody meant it.
