About Graham Land Services

Long before anyone owned a mower, stagecoach travelers rolled into Anderson and stopped at Fanthorp Inn to rest, and the country around that old inn still keeps the same easy, rolling shape. Properties out here tend to sprawl, with wide lawns sliding into pasture, long fence lines and the shade of cedar elms, more ground than a weekend push mower could ever finish. Graham Land Services keeps that ground trimmed and tidy. August in Grimes County is heavy and slow, heat shimmering off the hayfields and storm clouds stacking up past the tree line by late afternoon, and the mowing goes on through it, row after even row, until the place reads clean from the road. Land cared for like that looks the way this old corner of Texas ought to look.
