Yard maintenance

About Yard maintenance

Most yard work is not dramatic. It is a Tuesday, a cul-de-sac off in the Puckett neighborhood, a mower unloaded at eight and a lawn that looks cared for by twenty to nine. Yard maintenance covers that whole ordinary loop — mowing, edging, string trimming, walks and drives cleared of clippings, weed control through the season and cleanups when the leaves come down around Thompson Memorial Park and everywhere else in town. Grass in Amarillo grows hard in June and hardly at all in January, and the schedule bends to match what the year is actually doing. Showing up on the day you said you would is most of the work. The rest is a straight line and a clean edge.
