About Golden Standard Landscaping

Amarillo took its name from the color of the soil and the wildflowers along the creek, and the town still keeps that promise for about twenty minutes each evening, when everything on the plain turns the same warm yellow. Golden Standard Landscaping does most of its finishing in that light. Mowing, edging, trimming and clearing up after, on yards that have to hold their own between hard sun and harder wind. There is a particular satisfaction in the last pass of the day — the deck shut off, the drive cleared, the grass all lying one direction. Then the light goes, and the lawn keeps looking that way for the rest of the week.
