806 Lawn & Maintenance

About 806 Lawn & Maintenance

There is a stretch of Sixth Street where the brick storefronts and old neon still hold the shape of another century, and the neighborhoods behind it keep small square yards that reward attention. 806 Lawn & Maintenance carries the area code as a name because the work is local to the bone — mowing, edging, string trimming, and hauling off whatever the wind piles into the corners. Lawns out here grow in bursts, green after a wet week and stubborn after a dry one, so the schedule has to bend to the sky. The crew works the way the town does: early, plainly, finished before the afternoon gusts get any ideas. What is left behind is a yard with clean lines and nothing scattered across the walk.
