About Hawkins Landscape & Outdoors

Out at the Connemara Meadow the tallgrass turns copper in winter, and a red-tailed hawk will hold a fencepost for an hour, watching a field the way you watch a lawn you mean to fix. Hawkins Landscape & Outdoors brings that kind of attention to yards around Allen — mowing, edging, trimming, shrub work, and the seasonal cleanups that separate a lawn that got cut from a lawn that gets kept. Winter here is mostly brown Bermuda under hard clear light, a stretch for recutting bed edges, hauling leaves, and shaping the crape myrtles before spring gets loud. Then late February arrives and the whole prairie flips green almost overnight. The yards tended through the quiet months are the ones that flip first.
