CORTEZ LAWN ENFORCEMENT

About CORTEZ LAWN ENFORCEMENT

There is a particular satisfaction in a sidewalk edge cut so straight it reads like a ruler was laid down the length of the block. CORTEZ LAWN ENFORCEMENT takes that seriously in Alice, where grass pushes hard against curbs and driveways through the long warm months and will quietly take back a walkway if nobody argues with it. The work is mowing, edging, trimming around mailboxes and meter boxes and posts, and carrying the cuttings off — the whole business of keeping a yard inside its own lines. Traffic moves along Highway 44 and nobody thinks much about the yards it passes, which is precisely the compliment. A lawn only gets noticed once somebody stops holding the boundary.
