About TexGreen Landscaping

December does not end the growing year in Aldine so much as slow it to a murmur; the grackles gather by the thousand in the lot trees off the Eastex Freeway and the lawns keep a stubborn, muted green. TexGreen Landscaping works right through that lull — mowing when growth asks for it, edging the lines back to true, trimming shrubs while they are quiet, clearing beds and hauling off what the wind piled up. Landscape work done in the cool months sets up everything that happens in March, and it is far pleasanter to do at fifty degrees than at ninety-five. There is a plain kind of pride in a yard that stays sharp in the off weeks, when nobody expects it to. Come the first warm stretch, it is already ahead.
