Alba Dirt Work

About Alba Dirt Work

There is a lot of honest ground around Alba, red and sandy and rolling, and getting it to lie the way a family wants takes a patient hand on the controls. Alba Dirt Work moves earth around this Wood County town, shaping the land beneath a yard before anything green is asked to grow on it. A late-summer thunderstorm rumbling in from the west shows quickly whether water will run off clean or pool against a foundation, and careful dirt work makes that difference. Where the ground has been leveled and set right, grass takes hold and a property finally sits easy on its rise. Out here, the land itself is the first layer of every yard.
