J&M Lawn Service

About J&M Lawn Service

Old Route 66 still passes through Alanreed, a small stretch of Panhandle history set down on the open plains of Gray County, where the sky is the biggest thing in view. J&M Lawn Service keeps yards here mowed and trimmed against a wind that seldom rests and a summer sun with nothing to soften it. Grass out on the plains grows in bursts, greening fast after a June thunderstorm and then hunkering down through the dry spells. A crisp cut lets a homestead look settled against all that space. When evening turns the grassland copper and a truck sighs past on the interstate, a neat lawn is a small, steady sign of home.
