Alamo Ranch Lawn

About Alamo Ranch Lawn

South of Alamo the Rio Grande bends past Santa Ana, and at first light the chachalacas start up in the ebony and hackberry until the whole refuge is awake. Alamo Ranch Lawn gets going about then as well, while the Valley air still holds a little of its overnight cool. The work is steady lawn care, mowing, edging, string trimming, and clearing clippings off the walks and drives, through a growing season that hardly pauses in this corner of Texas. Grass down here will run twelve months if you let it, so the route runs twelve months too. A yard cut early, before the heat climbs, holds its look for days.
