About Trusty’s Neighborhood landscaping

Work a street long enough and you learn it house by house — which lawn drains slow, which corner the trimmer has to be gentle around, which hedge wants shaping twice in summer. Trusty's Neighborhood landscaping builds its Abilene routes that way, block by block, so the mowing, edging and trimming all land on the same day each week. Every lot rewards that kind of attention and punishes neglect fast. Beds get their borders cut back, shrubs are kept off the windows, and the concrete is swept clear before anybody drives home. When several yards on one street are cared for at once, the whole block lifts — which is exactly what neighborhood work is supposed to do.
