About Abbott Enterprise, Inc.

Up on the Cumberland Plateau, Winfield wakes under a lid of fog that slides off the ridges by mid-morning and leaves the grass silvered and ready. Abbott Enterprise, Inc. works these plateau yards — the ones cut from sandstone and hemlock shade along the US-27 corridor, where topsoil is a thing you earn. Mowing here means reading the slope, keeping the stripes honest across ground that never quite lies flat, then trimming and edging until every walk has a clean line against the green. There is real satisfaction in the last pass of the day, when the clippings are blown off the drive and a Scott County yard looks like somebody loves it. Come fall, when the hardwoods above the Big South Fork gorge turn and let go all at once, the leaf work begins again. It is ordinary care, kept up week to week, on ground that has always asked for a little more.
