About Shetters Lawncare

Down in the Elk River bottoms the grass grows like it has somewhere to be, and by mid-June a week away shows in every yard. Shetters Lawncare works those weeks in Winchester — mowing, trimming, edging, keeping the lines straight across ground that never quite lies flat. The good hours are early, before the river humidity thickens and the clippings start clinging, when the deck is set right and the pattern comes off the yard clean in both directions. An edge cut sharp along a walk is a small thing that changes how a whole property reads from the road. Summer here is long and generous to anything green, which is another way of saying the mowing does not let up. Neither does the pleasure of pulling out of a driveway that looks better than it did an hour ago.
