A-1 Chimney Specialist

About A-1 Chimney Specialist

Winter arrives in Franklin County sideways: a night of freezing rain off the Cumberland Plateau, and by morning every driveway on the Keith Springs side wears a shell of ice. A-1 Chimney Specialist works those mornings, clearing drives, walks and lots so people can get down the hill and out to the highway. Snow is rare enough here to feel like an event and heavy enough, when it comes, to close a street. Salt goes down where the shade holds and the melt refreezes by dusk. There is a particular satisfaction in a black-wet driveway at first light while the fields around it are still white.
