Butch's Tree & Landscaping.

About Butch's Tree & Landscaping.

Fog comes off the Watauga River early and lifts slowly, and the ridges behind it return one at a time. That is the hour when a yard here is at its softest, dew still holding the grass upright, and it is the hour Butch's Tree & Landscaping likes to start. Mowing, edging and trimming in this valley means working ground that tilts — river bottom flats on one street, a bank climbing toward the mountain on the next. What comes of it is a lawn that reads clean from the road, the borders held tight against walk and driveway. By the time the sun clears Holston Mountain the mower is back on the trailer and the yard looks like somebody loves it.
