Byrd Houses Lawncare

About Byrd Houses Lawncare

Spring comes up the valley in Unicoi one bird at a time — the first calls before light, then dogwood and redbud along the hollows, then grass that needs cutting again. Byrd Houses Lawncare opens the season there, with the first mow of the year, trimming back what winter left, edging drives and clearing the last of the old leaves out of the beds. From April on it settles into a rhythm of weekly cuts, and the yards along the river road and the county lanes come back into shape one at a time. Working outside in this county means noticing things — where the frost holds late, which slope dries first. The work rewards that kind of attention, and so do the lawns.
