About Operation Tall Grass, LLC

By late May at Tuckers Crossroads, the grass is outrunning everyone's plans, pushed along by warm rain and the long green days of Middle Tennessee. Operation Tall Grass, LLC takes its name from exactly that problem and meets it head-on, cutting yards back before they go to seed among the cedars and gray limestone. Under a high noon sun the mower leaves straight, even passes, and the string trimmer finishes what the deck can't reach around porch steps and tree trunks. What remains is a yard that looks cared for again, the shaggy overgrowth gone and the ground showing level and green. It is a small mission carried out one yard at a time, and the result shows from the road.
