About Tellico Tractor Works

Diesel takes its time waking up at fifteen degrees, and that minute — headlights on gravel, steam rolling off the hood — starts every snow day for Tellico Tractor Works. From there it is plowing, opening driveways and lots, breaking out the long lakeside lanes, shoveling steps and walks, and laying salt where north-side shade holds ice past noon. Tellico Village runs out across a string of peninsulas, and cold pools in the low ground between them where the sun is slow to reach. By the time light clears the ridge across the water, the drives are open and the day can start. Also serving Vonore, Loudon, Lenoir City and Greenback.
