About Ballplay Lawn Service

Tellico Plains sits where the farmland runs out and the Unicoi Mountains begin, with the Tellico River coming down cold out of the Cherokee National Forest. Ballplay Lawn Service keeps the yards along that edge of Monroe County in order — mowing through the long humid summers, trimming and edging the borders, and clearing leaves once the color moves down the slopes. Mornings up here start under mountain fog and open into some of the prettiest light in the state, which is not a bad office. Grass at the foot of these mountains grows thick and grows quickly, and staying in front of it takes a schedule you actually keep. The result is worth it: a lawn that looks deliberate, right where the wild country starts.
