Southern Spray

About Southern Spray

Summertown took its name from the visitors who once came up to its high ground for cooler summer air, and that same height can bring a sharper winter. Southern Spray offers snow removal in this Lawrence County town on the Highland Rim, clearing driveways and walks when snow and sleet ride in on the northwest wind. Pine and oak line the back roads here, and in their shade a hard freeze can hang on for days. Clearing a long gravel drive, sweeping the steps, getting a car back to the road: it is uncomplicated work, and it feels good to see it through. In a town named for the warm months, a cleared path keeps life moving until they come back around.
