About Rock Roots Excavation & Hauling, LLC

Beneath Summertown's oak and hickory woods the ground is all root and stone, the kind of footing that rewards anyone who knows how to move earth. Rock Roots Excavation & Hauling, LLC, an excavation and hauling outfit by name, puts that same muscle into snow removal when winter storms reach this hilltop Lawrence County town. When snow falls through the night, a driveway opened wide and a path cut to the door by the time the first headlights move along the road make the difference between staying stuck and getting on with things. There is something honest in it: heavy weather met with steady effort, and firm ground showing through again by morning.
