About The Tree Company

Winter mornings in Robertson County begin in the dark, and so does this crew. When a system slides down over the Kentucky line and leaves Springfield white, the plow is moving before the courthouse square has a single set of footprints across it. Driveways get opened wide enough that a truck can back out without guessing at the edges, walks come down to bare concrete, and salt goes where the afternoon melt will refreeze after dark. The Tree Company keeps to one job in that weather and keeps to it well: snow off the ground, ice off the path, lots clear enough to park in by the time anyone arrives. There is a plain pride in watching a customer pull out at seven and never once feel the tires slip. By the hour the square fills with daylight, the work is already behind them.
