Alley Land & Fencing

About Alley Land & Fencing

Snow is rare enough in Robertson County that when it comes, the whole of Springfield seems to hold still for it. Alley Land & Fencing works those mornings, clearing drives and walkways while the fencelines north of town still carry their white seam and the fields run off pale toward the Kentucky line. There is a plain kind of pride in the first pass — the black stripe opening behind the blade, salt worked into the shaded corners where ice keeps its grip longest. By the time light comes up over the Highland Rim, a drive that was impassable at five o'clock is only a drive again. That is the entire ambition here: get Springfield out the door and on its way.
