Blevins & Son Tree Services

About Blevins & Son Tree Services

Morning comes into South Pittsburg off the Tennessee River, low and gray, with the walls of the Sequatchie standing over the foundry town. Blevins & Son Tree Services works beneath those walls, pruning the water oaks along the old streets, trimming what has grown into a porch roof, taking down the trees the bottomland has softened at the base. Storms funnel through this valley and leave a mess that looks worse than it is; the cleanup ends with open ground and a clear driveway. Marion County means narrow lots and steep yards, and bringing a big tree out of one without touching anything else is the part worth doing well. From town it is a short run to Jasper, Kimball and on up the valley.
