Lawn Patrol

About Lawn Patrol

The name says it plainly: rounds, made on a schedule, in whatever the sky happens to be doing. Lawn Patrol covers Soddy-Daisy yards through the growing months with mowing, trimming, edging and cleanups, then switches over to plowing, shoveling and ice treatment when a winter system finds the valley. Grass gets cut on the same day each week; snow gets cleared as soon as it quits falling. The rhythm is the service — people stop having to wonder whether somebody is coming. Green in summer, black pavement in winter, and a town that keeps moving through both.
