The Lawn Whisperer

About The Lawn Whisperer

Three in the morning, and Lowry Street is empty and orange under the lights. The snow Smyrna gets tends to arrive exactly like this — overnight, without announcement, four inches where the forecast promised one. The Lawn Whisperer takes those hours: plowing driveways and lots, shoveling walks and steps down to bare concrete, putting salt where the melt will refreeze by six. It is quiet work by nature, finished and gone before most of the street knows weather happened at all. The proof turns up later, in a driveway that lets a car out on the first try.
