There is one week in March when Smyrna decides it is finished with winter — redbuds coming out along Enon Springs Road and everybody's yard greening at once, ready or not. K & K Lawn Care begins its year right there, with the first cut of the season, the edges reopened along walks and drives, and a whole winter's worth of debris pulled out of the corners. That first mow always takes the longest and always shows the most. From there the work settles into a weekly return through the long Tennessee growing season. A yard that gets its first cut on time spends the rest of the year looking after itself a little better.
