About Holmes Services

The worst of a Middle Tennessee winter usually happens between midnight and four in the morning, when the rain quits, the temperature keeps sliding, and Highway 70 turns to glass without telling anybody. Holmes Services keeps the hours that job requires. Plow down, lights on, working the drives and lanes around Smithville and out toward Snow Hill while most of DeKalb County is still asleep and unaware. Walkways get cleared to the concrete and the ice gets treated at the foot of every step, because a clean driveway with a slick apron is only half a job. Morning comes, headlights back out onto dry pavement, and a night's work vanishes into an ordinary day — which is exactly the point.
