Easy Turf Care

About Easy Turf Care

Spring arrives twice around here — once down in the city, then again two weeks later up the switchbacks of the W Road, when the mountain finally lets its fescue go green. Easy Turf Care keeps pace with both halves of the year on Signal Mountain: mowing, edging and trimming through the long humid stretch, cleanups when the oaks let go, and plowing, shoveling and salting on the mornings a cold rain in Chattanooga arrives as glaze up top. Winter here isn't measured in feet; it's measured in whether the driveway is passable at seven o'clock. So it gets cleared, walk and drive both, before anybody has to think about it. The rest of the year the reward is simpler — a lawn that looks combed, and cut grass hanging in the shade.
