The Lawn Mower Medic

About The Lawn Mower Medic

There is an hour just after sunrise when the dew is still down and the back roads toward Bell Buckle are nothing but fog and fence line. The Lawn Mower Medic likes to start then — blades sharp, deck set where it belongs, cutting grass at a height that lets it hold water through a Tennessee July. Mowing, trimming around posts and mailboxes, running the edge along the walks, tidying whatever the wind and the season left behind. A dull blade tears a lawn and a sharp one slices it, and anybody who has seen both can tell the difference from the porch. Small thing, whole yard.
